Pet Therapy
The therapy dogs from St. John Ambulance Pet Therapy Program are
part of the volunteer team at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Their presence provides a unique service not only to the patient,
but staff members and visitors alike.
A
warm, responsive pet, these animals offer unconditional support.
Stroking, holding them close and petting these dogs has provided
warmth and affection to those in hospital who wish to have a visit
from one of these dogs.
St.
John Ambulance Therapy Dogs are a free community service. If you
are interested in a pet visit, please inform your health care provider.
