The Eye Institute

The Eye Institute at Southlake is a modern, state-of-the-art facility, which offers a Patient-centred model of care—focusing on excellent outcomes and ease of access.

Opened in September 2007, the Eye Institute is located in the Medical Arts Building, directly across the street from Southlake Regional Health Centre. It combines a patient-friendly environment; spacious assessment and treatment rooms equipped with the very latest technology and techniques; and a comfortable waiting room.

The Institute is firmly committed to improving access by significantly reducing wait times for patients who need treatment for various types of eye conditions and surgery. The Cataract Program is the first of many premier services to be offered at The Eye Institute at Southlake.
