Southlake One Step Closer To Building
Regional Cancer Centre
Newmarket, Ontario - February 6, 2004 - Although
Southlake is grateful for the support it has received to date from
government officials, we wish to ask our community to voice their
enthusiasm for the completion of a Regional
Cancer Centre at Southlake by writing a letter of support to
their local Member of
Parliament or the Minister of Health And Long-Term Care. By
sharing your personal views on how important this initiative is
to you and your family, you can greatly assist us in keeping the
project on track.
If you prefer, you can complete the online
support card provided, and it will be forwarded to the Hospital's
Corporate Communications Department for submission to the office
of the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care (simply click on the
SUBMIT button when you are ready to send). The support card
may alternatively be printed, filled out and mailed to the Minister
of Health and Long Term Care (use the PRINT icon on your
browser).
Supporting the construction and equipment needs of the new Regional
Cancer Centre is a key priority of the Southlake Regional Health
Centre Foundation. As this project proceeds, we hope we can count
