Southlake Regional wins the
Bell Technology Award
Newmarket, Ontario -At the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce
2001 Business Excellence Award ceremonies held on October 17, Southlake
Regional Health Centre was named the recipient of The Bell Technology
Award and was given the beautiful statue shown below.
According to Debbie Scott, Network Coordinator at Bell, "Southlake
Regional Health Centre was nominated for demonstrating innovation
in the use of communications technology to further its business."
Always depending on leading-edge technology, Southlake Regional
was recognized for its electronic patient charting using wireless
technology, its MRI video-conferencing abilities and advanced data
storage.
"Bell Canada is thrilled that Southlake Regional has won the
Bell Technology Award and been recognized for innovative solutions
that ultimately benefit everyone," commented Scott.
This award is a credit to the creative planning and hard work of
both users and support staff in many departments. Congratulations
