Anonymous Donor’s story

To honour my late husband and to create a lasting legacy in his memory, my family and I have set up a named endowed fund bearing his name. We decided to direct the fund in support of the Cancer Care Program at Southlake. We can continue to make gifts to this fund so that it will continue to grow – what a wonderful legacy for a wonderful man.

For many years I have enjoyed supporting Southlake through my personal donations. As a former staff member, I know first hand what a difference these gifts make to the care the hospital is able to provide. By including Southlake in my will I am able to make a very meaningful gift to celebrate a lifetime of giving. Because all bequests are automatically invested in Southlake’s Endowmen t, my gift will benefit the community in perpetuity – it’s a legacy that I feel very good about.
