Corporate Communications
The role of the Corporate Communications Department is to act as a liaison between the Hospital and the many communities it serves. Dedicated to maintaining the Hospital’s brand and reputation, and in providing effective communication strategies, on a day-to-day basis and during times of crisis, the department is responsible for:
- Community Relations
- Corporate Promotions
- Crisis Management
- Internal Communications
- Maintaining internal and external websites
- Media Relations
- Patient Education materials
- Public Awareness
- Reputation Management and Branding
Media Policy
It is the policy of Southlake Regional Health Centre that all requests from media for information and/or interviews (patient, staff, physician or volunteer) must be arranged through the Hospital’s Corporate Communications department.
Members of the media are not permitted on Hospital property without permission from Corporate Communications. A representative from the Corporate Communications Department must accompany all reporters, film crews, and photographers during their visit to the Hospital. Individuals who do not notify the Department prior to coming on-site may be asked to leave by Security.
