Regional PCI Project

The Simcoe/York/Muskoka Regional PCI project is an evidence-based approach to standardization of pre and post-procedure care for the PCI patient population.  This project was funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Ontario Wait Times Innovations Strategies Fund.  These guidelines and related resources have been developed for health care professional and are supported and approved by:

  • Regional PCI Steering Committee with representatives from the Royal Victoria Hospital, Markham Stouffville Hospital, Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Southlake Regional Health Centre
  • The Interventional Cardiologist Physician Group at SRHC
  • Invasive/Interventional Clinical Service team at SRHC

The developed guidelines meet with the current recommended standards of the ACC/AHA.
