Occupational Health and Safety

The primary role of the Occupational Health and Safety Department is to coordinate the delivery of comprehensive, equitable, quality occupational health services for all employees. Our scope of practice includes managing and administering occupational health services within legislative and professional parameters. Working collaboratively with the worker, employer, unions, health professionals and others, the Occupational Health and Safety Department promotes wellness in a safe and healthy work environment.
