Sepsis is a life-threatening condition which can affect a patient at any time, including after surgery or even after something as simple as a urinary tract infection. This brochure provides a brief overview of sepsis, including signs and symptoms, treatment, and how you can reduce the risk of sepsis.
This brochure lists suggested steps patients can take to avoid falls in the Hospital and at home.
Delirium in the Older Person
Delirium is a sudden onset of mental confusion causing changes in behaviour. Older people are at greater risk of developing delirium. Recognizing and reporting the symptoms early can save lives. Delirium is not Dementia.
