Pre-Op Education - Shoulder/Hip/Knee School
In preparation for your surgery, patients are referred
to Pre-Op School by their orthopaedic surgeon. This outpatient service
is conducted by an interdisciplinary team of physiotherapists,
occupational therapists or nurses and includes an overview of the
anatomy and function of the shoulder, hip and knee and instructions for
post-operative recovery to ensure the best possible outcomes. Post
rehabilitation is usually pre-arranged to ensure seamless care.
