Community Awareness Committee
Proud to connect with the many communities we serve!
At Southlake Regional Health Centre, we are committed to caring for people and making their lives better. To help us achieve this important goal, we are currently seeking individuals, who are well connected within their community to join our Community Awareness Committee (CAC). The role of the CAC is to assist us in connecting with the many people we serve, as we plan and set priorities for the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
About the Community Awareness Committee
The CAC membership is comprised of people, who either live, work, or deliver healthcare services within the Hospital's vast service area, including York Region, Simcoe County and surrounding regions. Members have a strong interest in healthcare and a desire to provide a valuable link between Southlake and their community.
Time Commitment and Experience
From September to June, the CAC meets the second Tuesday of every month. On average, four hours per month are required to attend meetings and support hospital-related events. Individuals do not require any previous committee or health-related experience to apply.
