Job Summary

The Human Resources Co-op student, under the supervision of the HR Managers and

HR Advisors will provide overall support associated with Talent Acquisition & Engagement, Total Rewards, Workforce Relations, Metrics and project work. The Co-op opportunity will provide hands-on experience and great exposure to a variety of Human Resources functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be enrolled in the Human Resources Management Post-Graduate Certificate Program or three (3) year Human Resources Management Program
  • Typing at a minimum of 40 words per minute
    Knowledge of the recruitment and selection process
  • Demonstrates initiative and commitment to learning
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
    High level of composure, ability to work under pressure
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    Excellent organizational & time management skills
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork

  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
