*this position is located @ the Tannery with travel required to outreach clinics.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Certified Diabetes Educator required
  • Certificate in adult education and self-management preferred.
  • BCLS certification
  • Required a minimum of five years recent clinical diabetes experience
  • Required a minimum of one year experience adjusting insulin as per a medical directive
  • Certified Pump Trainer preferred
  • Must possess own car, a current Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driving abstract
  • Willingness to travel to outreach clinics
  • Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Analysis/problem assessment
  • Innovative and willing to learn
  • Commitment to customer service and teamwork

·         Demonstrates individual leadership skills

·         Proven ability to attend work regularly as per the Attendance Support Policy #HA30 and Procedure #HA35.
