What to Expect

You have likely seen a cardiologist for your symptoms and have had various tests completed to determine a diagnosis. Your cardiologist is referring you to the CVIP Clinic for further assessment either to confirm a suspecting diagnosis or manage you current condition. Your first visit will include completion of a questionnaire asking various questions about your health. You will also be seen by a nurse practitioner who will order any further diagnostic investigations required. You will return to the clinic for a second visit once all of the outstanding investigations have been completed and be seen by a physician. At this visit the physician will review all of your testing and determine whether you will need an invasive physiology study for a definitive diagnosis.

This clinic is one of a very few in the world dedicated to people with dysfunctional arteries. We aim to better understand these conditions so that we can provide the best possible care to patients suffering with these conditions. By participating in this clinic consent is implied to be a part of the research associated with this clinic. You will be contributing to knowledge expansion in these poorly understood conditions.
