Type of stress testing performed at Cardiovascular Rehabilition

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), also known as cardiopulmonary stress testing, is a non-invasive tool that provides a comprehensive evaluation of exercise responses involving the cardiovascular, pulmonary, hematopoietic, neuropsychological, and musculoskeletal systems.

  CPET Tannery

This test is performed to individually assess the participant's physical fitness level. Results from this test will give important information to the rehab team to create an individualized exercise prescription.

This test can be performed on a treadmill or bicycle, and for some particular mobility concerns on other pieces of exercise equipment.
