The Accredited with Exemplary 
Standing designation is one of four accreditation decisions, and is extremely rare for hospitals and other healthcare organizations to achieve. 

The designation means that an organization has attained the highest level of performance, achieving excellence in meeting the requirements of the accreditation program.

Fewer than 20 percent of organizations achieve this designation and Southlake has held exemplary standing for two accreditation cycles in a row.
